Delta Generators bring the blues with grit, soul, and enough rock-and-roll fire to keep your feet moving! This Boston-based foursome blends blues, roots, R&B, Americana, and rock into a sound all their own. We loved them so much, we booked them for our 35th anniversary party in 2025—and did they deliver!

Brian Templeton joined in 2016, taking over for original singer Craig Rawding—and what a fit! The former Radio Kings frontman brought a powerhouse voice, fiery harmonica, and a big personality. When Brian sings, it feels like he’s telling you his story. His warm swagger and sing-alongs draw you right into the show.

Charlie O’Neal’s lead guitar will leave your jaw on the floor: fast, precise, and full of feeling. His brother Rick brings grit and finesse on bass, while Jeff Armstrong keeps everything locked in the pocket on drums—with a great smile. The brothers’ musical history includes playing in a band with Benjamin Orr of The Cars, so that rock-and-roll spark comes naturally!

What began as a blues side project in 2007 became something much bigger when they won the Boston Blues Challenge in 2008. Their influences run from Elmore James and Freddie King to Albert Collins, but the chemistry is unmistakably their own. For their 2026 album, ON & ON, they wrote, arranged, and rehearsed the songs in eight days, then recorded them live in just two—capturing the onstage energy fans love.

“Inside Your Blue” is my favorite, but choosing just one song is tough. These are four of the nicest guys you’ll meet, and they know how to give an audience a great night of music.
